System Requirements

Chordious should work anywhere .NET 4.6.2 is supported (Windows 7 SP1 / 8.1 / 10). Make sure you have .NET 4.6.2 installed.

Installation

From the Microsoft Store (Windows 10 Recommended)

Chordious is now available on the Microsoft Store.

  1. Select the Microsoft Store button above.
  2. Select Get to launch the Microsoft Store app.
  3. Select Get or Install from the Microsoft Store app.
  4. Run Chordious from your Start Menu.

The Microsoft Store will keep you up to date with the latest Official version of Chordious.

Windows Setup MSI (Windows 7 SP1 / 8.1 / 10)

Chordious is a desktop application and the standard way to use Chordious is to install it to your PC:

  1. Select the Windows Setup MSI button above.
  2. Save the msi file to your PC.
  3. Run the msi file and follow the instructions.
  4. Run Chordious from your Start Menu.

Note: If a dialog pops up about ChordiousSetup.msi not being safe, be sure to see Why do I get a security warning when trying to install Chordious?

It’s recommended that you keep the automatic updating enabled to be notified when new versions of Chordious are released.

Chordious Portable (Alternative)

If you’re unable to install Chordious to your PC, Chordious Portable is a single executable that you can run without installation, even from a USB flash drive:

  1. Select the Windows Portable ZIP button above.
  2. Save the zip file to your PC.
  3. Unzip the zip file.
  4. Run ChordiousPortable.exe to launch Chordious.

Note: Chordious Portable saves your work in a file named Chordious.User.xml in the same directory as ChordiousPortable.exe, so don’t delete that file.

It’s recommended that you keep the automatic updating enabled to be notified when new versions of Chordious Portable are released. To update, simply overwrite ChordiousPortable.exe with the newer version.
